LOGAN – An invitation for applications has been issued by Utah State University as it steps up the search for the school’s next President.

Candidates have until March 29 to submit application materials to WittKieffer, an executive search and advisory firm hired by USU to assist in the search.

In April the school’s Presidential Search Committee will begin reviewing candidate nominations and applications.

Soon after President Noelle Cockett announced in November that she would step down by the summer of 2023, USU’s Presidential Search Committee conducted public meetings to gather feedback on the search.

The full presidential leadership profile, a 22-page document, is found at usu.edu/president-search.

The USU Presidential Search Committee is co-chaired by Utah Board of Higher Education member Richard Wheeler and USU Board of Trustees Chair Kent Alder.

Information at wittkieffer.com says “…our deep commitment to education leadership drives our commitment to our clients. It’s about bringing transformational leadership to mission-driven institutions around the world.”
