WEST VALLEY CITY — After a similar gathering was held last October, what is billed as the Utah Liberty Festival is coming to the Salt Lake City area on June 17th and 18th.

On KVNU’s For the People program, organizer Teena Horlacher told us about this latest convention to be held at the Maverik Center in West Valley City.

“The 17th is going to be a dinner and speaker reception, it will be more of an intimate event. We’ll have Kash Patel. Kash Patel was Donald Trump’s Chief of Staff, and also we will have Rear Admiral Chuck Kubic.

“Chuck Kubic was the president’s top foreign policy advisor, he has tons of experience, right now he’s down at the border, he’s seeing what’s going on there,” she said.

Horlacher said on Saturday, June 18th the doors will open early at 7 a.m.

“Because there’s going to be a whole lot of vendors, and those kind of vendors are the fun kind, and the patriotic kind. And then we’ll start the event at 9 a.m. We’ll just go throughout the day with speakers, and we’ll end the day with a concert by the Nathan Osmond band, which we’re super excited about.

“Especially those people who were with us for the (last conference), know what Nathan did there, and he’s got an amazing concert planned for us.”
