Ann Grimmett Parker

August 7, 1926 – February 28, 2020 – (age 93)

Ann Grimmett Parker passed away on February 28, 2020, at the home of her son in Logan, Utah.

She was born August 7, 1926, in Paris, Idaho, and was the fifth of seven children born to Orson Henry Grimmett and Lillias Elizabeth Shepherd Grimmett.

She married Chester Parker on June 8, 1949, in the Logan Temple. They were married 62 years.

Ann was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as Primary President, Relief Society President, plus many other callings in all church auxiliaries, including a Temple Worker in the Boise Temple. She served a service mission at the Church Distribution Center in Ontario, Oregon for nine years. She loved the Savior and had a strong testimony of him and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Ann is survived by six children: Brad and Ann Parker (Boise, Idaho), Jan and Dan White (West Valley City, Utah), Tracie Parker (Providence, Utah), Annette and John DeRoest (Salt Lake City, Utah) Kenneth and Tara Parker (Logan, Utah), Roger Parker and Heather Horton (Alpine, Wyoming), 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Janet Budge and Marilyn Whinham.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1350 Eastridge Circle, Logan, Utah at 11:00am. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 10:45am prior to the services at the same address.
