Cache Valley events part of Avalanche Awareness Week

Last winter, the Utah Legislature designated the first week of December as Avalanche Awareness Week.

The goal is to save lives and offer training to those heading to Utah’s back-country.

During the week, the Utah Avalanche Center will host 20 events statewide, focused on promoting avalanche awareness, education and safety.

Below are a list of events in Cache Valley and Franklin County:

16th Annual Pray for Snow Party

December 4, 6:00-10:00 PM

The Cache Venue: 119 S Main St, Logan
