GaeLene Harris Miller

October 31, 1936November 25, 2019 – (age 83)

GaeLene Harris Miller passed away peacefully in Mapleton, Utah on November 25, 2019, surrounded by her children. She was born October 31, 1936 in Tremonton, Utah.

GaeLene graduated from Bear River High School and lived her whole life here in the valley. She was married to Reed Frank Miller on March 4, 1954 in the Logan Temple. She loved gardening, crocheting, and above all, she loved her family and spending time with them.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in all of her church callings, loving those she served. A highlight of her life was serving many years in the Logan and Brigham City temples.

GaeLene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, parents Reed Lavon and Edna Myrtle (Christensen) Harris, sister Jann E Boss, and great-granddaughter Demi Rose Miller. She is survived by her three children Barbie Gae (Brett) Massengale, Todd Marion (Kathleen H.) Miller, and Justin Reed (Kathleen T.) Miller, 12 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Elwood 2nd Ward located at 4865 West 9600 North, Elwood, Utah 84337 on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 11:00am. A viewing will be held on Friday, November 29 from 6:00 – 8:00pm at the Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and again from 9:30 – 10:30am on Saturday, November 30 at the Elwood 2nd Ward building. Interment will be in the Elwood Cemetery.
