2019 General Election results in Franklin County

The following results for municipal council races will be updated throughout the evening. Candidates in bold indicate they have won. Check back frequently for updates as vote tallies are released throughout the many communities in Franklin County.

Preston

Mayor

  • Mark Beckstead*: 497
  • Dan Keller: 703

City Council

The top two candidates are elected to the Preston City Council for 4-year terms:

  • Tonia Brown: 178
  • Brent Dodge: 666
  • Terry Larson: 786
  • Bradley Wall: 591

$2.9 million Franklin County Courthouse Renovation and Improvements Bond

  • In Favor: 1,448
  • Against: 768

Clifton

The top two candidates are elected to the Clifton City Council for 4-year terms:

  • Andy Clawson: 61
  • Kristin Skinner: 43
  • David Wand: 56
  • Tennison Westover: 35

Voters were asked if they wanted to issue revenue bonds for a $2.2 million Water Improvement project.

  • In Favor: 75
  • Against: 25

Franklin County Fire Commissioner District #1

  • David Kerr: 1,122
  • Fred Titensor: 1,067

Dayton

The top two candidates are elected to the Dayton City Council for 4-year terms:

  • Dee Becstead: 54
  • Stacy Moser: 47

Franklin

The top two candidates are elected to the Franklin City Council for 4-year terms:

  • Corey Richards: 137
  • Tauma Noel: 38
  • Deirdra Burgess: 21
  • Marilyn Sanchez: 33
  • John Packer: 125

Oxford

Mayor

  • Jarrod Barlow: 12

Weston

The top two candidates are elected to the Weston City Council for 4-year terms:

  • Sarah Layland: 54
  • Scott Russell Vahsholtz: 35

Thatcher Cemetery District Override Levy in the amount of up to $2500 a year for two years:

  • In Favor: 2
  • Against: 7
