LOGAN – The public is invited to get to know the candidates running for Logan City Council seats on Monday, September 30.

The event will be held from 5 -7 pm in the Logan City Municipal Council Chambers and moderated by the host of KVNU’s For the People radio program.

“Jason Williams will be asking questions and getting to know the candidates that will be on the ballot on November 5th,” said Teresa Harris, City Recorder. “There’s a lot of issues and important things happening in the city now. It’s good for people to get involved and vote.”

Six candidates will be on the ballot for three open council seats.

They are:

• Mark Anderson
• Jeannie Simmonds
• Tom Jensen
• Abraham Verdoes
• Keegan Garrity
• Ken Heare
