LOGAN, Utah – Utah State’s football game at fourth-ranked LSU on Saturday, Oct. 5, will be televised live on the SEC Network at 10 a.m. (MT), it was announced Monday.

For Utah State, it will be the 11th time in school history it has faced a top-five team, including the first time since the 2007 campaign when it played at third-ranked Oklahoma.

This will be the third-ever meeting between the Aggies and Tigers, with all three games being played in Baton Rouge. The last time the two teams played one another was during the 2001 campaign, with LSU posting a 31-14 win.

LSU, who has a bye this weekend prior to hosting Utah State, is 4-0 on the season following its 66-38 conference win at Vanderbilt last weekend. The Tigers began the year with a 55-3 home win against Georgia Southern, followed by a 45-38 road win at then 10th-ranked Texas and a 65-14 home win against Northwestern State.

Utah State is 2-1 on the season and 1-0 in conference play following its 23-17 Mountain West road win at San Diego State last weekend. USU began the year with a 38-35 loss at Wake Forest and then posted a 62-7 home win against Stony Brook.

Prior to play at LSU, Utah State will host Colorado State (1-3, 0-0 MW) in its annual Homecoming game on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 5:30 p.m. The game will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network (Xfinity Ch. 269/753HD), DISH Ch. 158, DirecTV Ch. 221).
