LOGAN – GE Healthcare is holding a free pancake breakfast to honor all first responders, public safety and EMS team members on Friday Sept. 20, from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. The breakfast will be located in their west parking lot, located at 925 W. 1800 S. in Logan.

The breakfast will include eggs, pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit, juice, milk and coffee. The event will be held at the pavilion.
“We just set up grills and any first responders can show up and get a meal,” said Justin Meehan, the site leader. “At GE Health Care, we believe in creating a culture that is good for our employees and good for the community.”
He said everyone knows a first responder, either because they are a family member or a friend of a family member.
“We want to be active in taking care of them and other people important to the community.”
The company’s volunteers recently held a fundraiser for Operation Underground Railroad. Tim Ballard came and spoke at the event. The company has also recently raised money for Ride for the Fallen and put together backpacks for kids who needed school supplies for the Little Lambs organization.
“GE Healthcare has an active volunteer workforce of 500 employees that are passionate about trying to organize six to eight activities a year to give back to Cache Valley,” said Meehan.
