One of Northern Utah’s biggest and most cherished festivals is Peach Days in Brigham City this Friday and Saturday. There’s a carnival, parades, Harley and custom bike show, a massive custom car show, and, of course, LOTS of delicious ways to enjoy peaches.
New at the Zoo
Find out what’s New at the Zoo on Thursday. Zootah at Willow Park is hosting a free event Thursday starting at 6:30. You can see the improvements and the new animals.
You can support Aggie athletics by participating in the Aggie Auction on Friday. It will be at the Riverwoods Conference Center starting at 5:30 p.m.
Stokes Nature Center hosts Canyon Jams Friday in partnership with Bridger Folk Music Society. Doors at 2nd Dam open at 6, music starts at 7.
Hundreds of cyclists make their way from Logan to Jackson Hole, Wyoming this weekend. LOTOJA gets started early Saturday morning and cyclists travel more than 200 miles to the base of the Teton Mountains in one day. Good luck riders and to your support crews!
Family First Saturday
Games and the history of fun will be explored, in a fun way, at USU’s Museum of Anthropology on Saturday. The fun begins at 10 a.m. and it’s free.
Historic Home Tour
Another type of historic exploration is taking place Saturday. The 2019 Cache Valley Historic Home Tour is Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday’s tour will feature the Victorian era of Cache Valley craftsmanship and others.
Cache Brazilian Fest
Celebrate Brazilian Independence Day Saturday afternoon at Willow Park. From 2-9 p.m. there will be vendors, authentic food and drink, live music, and other activities at Cache Brazilian Fest.
Fall Harvest Festival
Saturday is the fourth annual Fall Harvest Festival at Elite Hall in Hyrum. The festival runs from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday, followed by dancing on the spring-loaded floor from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
A Barn Dance, featuring Saddle Strings, is Saturday night in Preston. Dinner starts at 6:30 and music begins at 7:30 p.m.
USU vs Stony Brook
The Utah State Aggies host Stony Brook in their football home opener Saturday. Kickoff is at 5:30 on Merlin Olsen Field.
And finally, Nathan Pacheco performs in the Ellen Eccles Theatre Saturday and Monday nights. Saturday’s performance begins at 7:30, while Monday’s begins at 7.
