Kent Wayne Day

January 28, 1965 – July 30, 2019 – (age 55)

Kent Wayne Day, 55, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.

Kent was born January 28, 1965, in Richmond, Utah, to Wayne and Arlene Day. He was the youngest of five children, spending his childhood farming, working on old cars with his father, and enjoying the outdoors. He graduated in 1984 from Sky View High School.

He spent his early adult years running a company with his father repairing televisions and held a number of other positions throughout his life. Kent was the loving father of five children. They will always remember his love of “girl” music and vampire movies.

He is survived by his children: Wayne (Maggy) Day of Fountain Hills, Arizona; Courtney (Brayden) Richardson of Logan, Utah; Nikki Day, Kaci Day, and Mindi Day of Logan, Utah; and seven grandchildren, Jason, Julia, Gracelyn, Jaxon, Trason, Easton and Isabella. Also survived are his sisters, Dixie Passey, Lynda Day, and SuAnn Day. Preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Debbie (Garth) Purser.

A family viewing will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 6:00 – 7:00pm at Sunset Valley Mortuary, 690 West 1725 North, Logan, Utah. The graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 7, at 2:00pm at the Richmond, Utah Cemetary. All are welcome to attend.

A family luncheon will be held at the LDS Logan 4th Ward meetinghouse, 294 North 100 East, Logan, Utah just prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted by the family.
