LOGAN — A possible plea deal is coming for a 32-year-old Logan man accused of multiple sex abuse charges. Aaron R. Robison was originally arrested a year-and-a-half ago.

According to court staff, Robison appeared in 1st District Court Monday morning. He has been charged with one count of sodomy on a child, a first degree felony; two counts of sex abuse of a child and three counts of forcible sexual abuse, all second-degree felonies.

After meeting with the prosecutor and judge in chambers, defense attorney Wayne Caldwell told the court they were waiving their right to a preliminary hearing. He asked the court for some more time to work out a possible resolution.

Prosecutors allege the assaults in two of the cases took place in the summer of 2010 and 2011. The two other cases reportedly took place between 2000 and 2002.

Robison is currently out of jail on pre-trial supervision, after posting $5,000 bail. He could face up to life in prison if found guilty.
