September 26, 1950 – June 29, 2019
Brent was born September 26, 1950 in Pocatello, Idaho. He was the first born of Wells Leland and NaDene (Gardner) Grigg.
Brent married Darla Ree Packer on May 18, 1973. They became the parents of 11 children and 37 grandchildren.
Brent was known by his family and friends for his tireless work ethic and generosity. He was always working on projects for his children and grandchildren. His life was centered on his faith in his Lord Jesus Christ and he tried to always live true to his testimony. Reading made him happy and when he wasn’t able to read anymore, he continued to listen to his favorite books, especially the scriptures. He was rarely outspoken, but preferred to live his life as a quiet example of those around him. Many of his children remember seeing him reading his scriptures or kneeling in prayer as they woke up early for school or work. In his life he enjoyed many hobbies, including fishing, hunting, camping, and woodworking.
