Utah State head men’s tennis coach James Wilson stepping down

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head men’s tennis coach James Wilson has announced that he will be stepping down to pursue other career opportunities. A national search will begin immediately to find a new head coach.

Utah State men’s tennis has enjoyed one of the most successful runs over the last several years, capturing the Mountain West regular season championship in 2016 and both the regular season and tournament championship in 2017 and 2018. The run included a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances, the first team berths in USU men’s tennis history. The Aggies were ranked as high as No. 37 in the nation during the run and have produced numerous all-conference honors on the court and all-academic performers in the classroom.
