Fire fighters and police were called to a two alarm fire early Wednesday morning in North Logan that could be seen from miles away. The fire was reported just after 1 a.m. at a trailer home in the Cinnamon Ridge Mobile Home Community, near 2500 North 300 East.
According to emergency radio traffic, as first responders arrived on the scene they found the trailer fully engulfed in flames. As they began to spray water on the fire, flames spread from the trailer to two vehicles that were parked under an adjoining carport.
The occupants of the trailer were allegedly able to evacuate safely. There were no other injuries reported.
Fire fighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to nearby homes but, as a precaution, officers evacuated nearby trailers until the fire was extinguished.
The cause of the fire is still being determined.
