Mattie Ann Robison Webber

October 2, 1925 – December 25, 2018
Mattie Ann Robison Webber was born in Ely, Nevada October 2, 1925 to A. Paul Robison and Anne Easton Hood. Mattie had one brother, Paul Easton (Dorothy). Mattie grew up in Los Angeles, California and Fillmore, Utah where she graduated from Millard High School. She married Grant T. Callister in the Salt Lake Temple. Grant left shortly after to serve in the Army Air Corp as a pilot and instructor. Grant and Mattie made their home in Fillmore and then moved to Tremonton, Utah. They had three children: Roslyn (Lyle Archibald), Craig (Alice), Rodger, (Lani). They have 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Grant died December 25, 1990.
Mattie married Milton Abrams. He died in an automobile accident July 16, 1998.
A few years later R. Dale Webber and Mattie Ann sent announcements to their friends and family that they had eloped and were on a ship where the captain would marry them. They would then sail on to Europe where they would honeymoon.
Mattie Ann and Dale were married March 30, 2005 They made their home in Logan, Utah.
Mattie Ann was active in civic and government activities throughout her life. She was chairman of the displays for the Festival of the American West at Utah State University, on the Governors Safety Council, was PTA president in the Fillmore Elementary School and in the High School, held several offices in the Federated Women’s Clubs and served in several positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Mattie Ann died December 25, 2018 in Logan, Utah.
A family remembrance service will be held at Nelson Funeral Home. Mattie Ann will be buried in the Providence City Cemetery.The family thanks Terrace Grove for their kind and loving care.
