Participants are beginning to plan for downtown Parade of Gingerbread Homes

Suzy Metcalf's gingerbread house is on display at The Sportsman.

Haunted ghost tours, scary movies at the Utah Theatre, a Zombie Walk and Downtown Trick or Treating kept people coming back to Historic Downtown Logan in October. Gary Saxton, manager of the Logan Downtown Alliance, says there are a lot of other events for people to enjoy before the holidays are over.

Saxton says right now many people are already starting to work on a popular downtown event: the Parade of Gingerbread Homes.

“Those folks who are interested in doing the Parade of Gingerbread Homes are getting ready to submit their ideas for gingerbread creations. That will start in the month of November, getting those gingerbread homes ready to be built and brought downtown.”

Saxton says a lot of other programs and activities will take place during the popular holiday season.
