The Mormon Tabernacle Choir & Orchestra at Temple Square is coming to Logan on September 22nd. Performances will be at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Daines Concert Hall on the Utah State University campus.
The program for the Logan performance features music ranging from classical choral literature to contemporary sacred and popular music.
Craig Jessop, dean of the Caine College of the Arts at Utah State University, was music director for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir from 1999 to 2008. Jessop says the choir performed in the Kent Concert Hall when it first opened in 1967.
He says to have them back for an inaugural performance in the Daines Concert Hall is an honor and a privilege.
Two performances will take place on September 22nd, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $15-$30 and only $5 for USU students with ID. Tickets can be purchased through the Caine College of the Arts Box Office in room L101 in the Chase Fine Arts Center, by calling (435) 797-8022 or online at cca.usu.edu.
Where can we get tickets?
This is such wonderful news. I want to go.
How much does this cost
My hope is The Morman Tabernacle Choir and orchestra will come to the east coast for a public performance!
