Buttars excited about the Cache County Fair present and future

Thousands of people are expected to visit the Cache County Fairgrounds during the next three days to visit and/or participate in the 2018 Cache County Fair and Rodeo.

Cache County Executive Craig Buttars says this is exciting, but looking ahead is even more exciting.

“I’m also trying to work on getting the (Army National Guard) Armory, finding a location for the Armory so we can move the Armory, and possibly the county can purchase the armory building to use at the fairgrounds.”

Buttars says although it is not finished yet, a lot of people and organizations have reserved the new fairgrounds building to hold both major and minor events during the days to come.

The fair features animal auctions, a variety of community displays, carnival games and rides, as well as a rodeo each night.
