Williams and Doutre advance to general election for Logan School Board District 5

The field has narrowed from three down to two candidates for the Logan City School Board District 5. Larry Williams and Sarah Menlove Doutre will advance to face each other in the November general election. Daniel Kent did not receive enough votes to remain in the race.

Williams led all three with 464 votes; Doutre received 387; and, Kent received 167 votes. Williams is a recently-retired educator and Doutre is a former educator and education consultant.

The race is non-partisan and only Logan City residents were allowed to vote in the race.
