Sandall believes he should represent District 17 as state senator

LOGAN – Scott Sandall, a Republican from Tremonton, has served in the Utah House of Representatives during the last four years and now he is running for State Senator representing District 17.

He said he believes he has done well in his current position and cited an example.

“There was a program that the state was funding at $1 million a year that was competing against a private business,” he said. “It was a little bit of a tough pull but I pulled that million dollars back last year because I just don’t think the government needs to be in a space where private business can do its own thing.”

Sandall is running against Republican Clark Davis in the June 26 primary election.
