District 17 senate candidate Clark Davis discusses Cache Valley issues

LOGAN – The southern part of Cache County is part of State District 17 and Clark Davis said if he is elected senator he will make sure the area’s assets are well utilized. Davis faces State Representative Scott Sandall in the upcoming Republican Primary and said he is well qualified for the position.

A resident of Brigham City, Davis said his community work has helped make him acquainted in Cache County as well.

“Some of the issues based in Cache Valley are air pollution and the quality of air,” he said. “Other issues are transportation and the amount of congestion that are experienced in Cache Valley. Other issues in Cache Valley include the shortage of affordable housing. Those are issues I’m familiar with. Those issues are local issues.”

The Republican primary election will be held June 26.
