Just in time for this week’s observance of Teacher Appreciation Week is a Utah company, Instructure, which produces testing software being used in schools in 48 states.
One of its products, Canvas, is a cloud-based learning management system that connects all the digital tools and resources teachers use, into one simple place.
Hilary Scharton is the VP of K-thru-12 for Canvas.
“It’s a learning management system,” Scharton explains, “and essentially what it is it is how students will get online so they can consume content and find assignments and take quizzes and complete things.”
