LOGAN — Classes at Mt. Logan Middle School were cancelled Tuesday morning after water line broke in the school.
Logan City School District Superintendent Frank Schofield said, since there was no water in the building, school would not be held.
It is expected that the water line will be repaired and classes will resume Wednesday.
Schofield said parents and students will be notified if and when a make-up day is scheduled.
Vice principle Paul Wagner said the school will be open Tuesday evening for an open house for all current 5th graders. It is scheduled to be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Practice for the school’s play, Annie, will also continue as scheduled but the school’s field trip to USU was canceled.
School officials expect the water line to be repaired by Tuesday afternoon.
