…WINTER STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED…
Heavy snow has stopped in the upper Snake River highlands. Light
snow of 1 to 4 inches will continue tonight at high elevations
that surround the Teton Basin. More snow is expected Saturday.
…WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM MST
SUNDAY…
* WHAT…Heavy snow and blowing snow occurring. Plan on
difficult travel conditions, including during the evening
commute. Additional snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches, with
localized amounts up to 24 inches, are expected.
* WHERE…I 84 from milepost 228 to the Utah border, I 15 from
the milepost 63 to the Utah Border, U.S. Highways 26, 30, 89
and 91, and state highways 34 and 36.
* WHEN…Until 11 AM MST Sunday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Winds gusting as high as 30 mph will
cause areas of blowing and drifting snow, especially over
mountain passes.

SATURDAY…
* WHAT…Snow and blowing snow occurring. Plan on slippery road
conditions. In addition, areas of poor visibility are
expected. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches, with
localized amounts up to 9 inches, are expected. Eastern bench
areas will see the heaviest snow amounts.
* WHERE…Along I-86 and I-15 corridor including the City of
Pocatello, Blackfoot, American Falls and Fort Hall.
* WHEN…Expect a break in the snow this afternoon into early
evening. After midnight expect snow to redevelop and continue
through most of Saturday morning with lingering light snow
into Saturday afternoon.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Winds gusting as high as 30 mph will
cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.
