URGENT – WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

…Slippery conditions for this morning’s commute period…

.A burst of moderate intensity snow expected during the morning

commute period today will bring light accumulations of snow on

already frozen untreated road surfaces making for slippery

driving conditions.

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO 10 AM PST THIS

MORNING…

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to 2 inches

are expected. The heaviest accumulations will occur on the

higher benches and hills.

* WHERE…Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, Worley, Spokane,

Cheney, Davenport, and Rockford.

* WHEN…From 6 AM to 10 AM PST this morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Wet road surfaces from last night may have

frozen overnight, especially untreated secondary roads. Plan on

slippery road conditions, including during the morning commute.

Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will

cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered

roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
