…MODERATE SNOW RETURNS TO PORTIONS OF WESTERN WYOMING…

.Strong west winds laden with Pacific moisture will bring periods

moderate to occasionally heavy snow into tonight. Heaviest snow

is expected through this afternoon, slowly tapering off tonight.

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM MST

TUESDAY…

* WHAT…Snow and blowing snow expected. Up to 6 inches of snow

has already fallen. General total snow accumulations will range

from 4 to 12 inches with the valleys of norther Yellowstone

seeing 2 to 4 inches while a few favored areas in the Tetons get

up to 15 inches.

* WHERE…Yellowstone National Park and Teton and Gros Ventre

Mountains.

* WHEN…Until 2 AM MST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Plan on slippery road conditions. In

addition, areas of poor visibility are likely. Winds gusting

as high as 50 mph today will cause areas of blowing and

drifting snow. Winds should taper off tonight.
