…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO

MIDNIGHT MST FRIDAY NIGHT…

* WHAT…Snow and blowing snow expected. Plan on slippery road

conditions. In addition, areas of poor visibility are expected.

Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches, with locally higher

amounts, are expected.

* WHERE…Eastern Uinta Mountains and Tavaputs Plateau.

* WHEN…From midnight tonight to midnight MST Friday night.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Winds gusting as high as 30 mph will

cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means periods

of snow and blowing snow will cause primarily travel

difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited

visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest road

conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by

calling 5 1 1.

locally higher amounts are expected in the La Sal and Abajo

mountains. 1 to 3 inches are expected below 8000 feet.

* WHERE…La Sal and Abajo Mountains.

* WHEN…From midnight tonight to 9 AM MST Saturday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will

cause widespread blowing and drifting snow.
