NATIONAL SUMMARY
Change is in the air for the Northeast tomorrow, when wet
and chilly weather is expected to shock the region following
a string of warm and sunny days. While warm humidity grips
the Southeast, temperatures will fail to exceed the 30s
across the majority of the Northeast. Rain, snow and ice
will pester areas from the Ohio Valley through southern New
England. Icy conditions will also make travel hazardous
throughout the central Plains. Rainy weather is in store
from New York City to the Tennessee Valley and Texas, with
some areas hearing a few rumbles of thunder. The western
United States will remain cold and breezy, with snow showers
expected in parts of the Plains, as well as in the central
Rockies and over desert areas to the west of the mountains.
Chilly, damp weather is in store for the whole of
California.
