…POTENT WINTER STORM CONTINUES THROUGH TONIGHT…
.A strong winter storm will continue to affect the area into
tonight, with snow gradually tapering off late tonight into
Tuesday morning. Northerly winds of 10 to 20 mph will produce
some drifting of snow and patchy blowing snow. Additional
snowfall tonight will generally be 1 to 4 inches, with 5 to 8
inches likely from the Pine Ridge into south central South
Dakota.
Arctic air over the area will also produce wind chills of
20 below to 35 below zero early Tuesday morning.
