…SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT…

At 908 PM MST, heavy snow falling in the area of Interstate 15 and

86 junction with visibility less than 1/4 mile. Observer in the area

reported snow falling at a rate near 2 inches per hour. NWS radar

shows the band of snow should move to the east and diminish about 10

pm MST. Road conditions are slick and visibility poor, use extreme

caution if driving.

Locations impacted include…

Pocatello, American Falls Reservoir, Chubbuck, Fort Hall Buffalo

Lodge, Fort Hall Townsite, Springfield, Pocatello Airport and

Sterling.
