What would your family do in the event of an emergency? Utah State University Extension’s Family Emergency Preparedness Workshop Series is a monthly class to help you and your family be prepared in case of a natural or man-made disaster. February’s class will be held on Thursday, February 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the Cache County Administration Building Multipurpose Room, 179 North Main, Logan.
The topics covered will be 72 Hour Kits and cooking with dry milk. Other topics in the series to be covered include Financial Paperwork and Cash in an Emergency (March 8); Sheltering in Place -plus food storage recipes using rice (April 12); Recovering from an Emergency/Disaster – plus recipes using oatmeal and other food storage ingredients (May 10).
