LOGAN – The Cache Valley Visitor’s Bureau is once again offering matching grants for out-of-area marketing and new event development, according to executive director Julie Hollist-Terrill. She said the grant will be available until March 1 in two different categories. First, toward advertising existing events in markets outside the area, and second, creating events that will entice visitors to spend at least one night in an area hotel.
“The organizations can receive up to $1,500 in matching funds,” she said.
Previous awards have been made to organizations presenting outdoor events, arts events and festivals such as the Top of Utah Marathon, the Cache Valley Center for the Arts and the Cache Valley Cruise-In. The funds must be used to establish a new attraction, event, activity festival or program in Cache Valley.
