GREEN CANYON – For people looking for a nice hike or mountain bike ride, Green Canyon is a popular spot. The canyon is off limits to motorized vehicles and is used less in the winter, but one extreme sport enthusiast shows us the beauty of the canyon.

On his YouTube channel, Jesse Carman shows off Green Canyon and his skills at speed flying. Attached to an Ozone wing parachute, Carman runs off the top of a steep, snow-capped slope above Green Canyon and races across and down the mountain into the canyon.
With a camera attached to his helmet, he zips around and above trees, across rocky mountain ridges, glimpses into the Cache Valley and the Wellsville Mountain Range, before descending further into the canyon. In the video, Carman spots a clearing, a larger patch of snow in the heart of the canyon along the trail, where he sets down at a running stop.
The entire flight lasts almost two and a half minutes. Carman published the video on January 2, 2018. You can see more of his videos here.
