LOGAN — Attorneys are working on a possible plea deal for a 19-year-old Logan man, accused of having sex with an underage girl. Jacob W. Wilson remains in the Cache County Jail on $29,000 bail.

Wilson appeared in 1st District Court Monday morning. Prosecutors have filed additional charges against him. They include sexual exploitation of a minor, a second-degree felony, three counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and dealing in harmful materials to a minor, all third-degree felonies, and two misdemeanors.

Defense attorney Mike McGinnis said he was working on a possible resolution in the case and asked the court for one more week to finalize the details. None of the conditions were disclosed.

Court records show, last Monday Wilson waived his right to a preliminary hearing. He also pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.

Wilson was arrested last month by North Park Police officers, after previously serving 81-days in jail for sexting with an underage girl and criminal mischief.
