Logan City announces their schedule for various offices and functions for the Thanksgiving holiday beginning Thursday. All Logan City offices will be closed on Thursday, in addition to the Logan landfill, library, recreation center and the Logan River Golf Course. Garbage and recycling will not be collected.

On Friday, city offices and the Logan Library will remain closed (library opens on Saturday). Thursday and Friday garbage and recycling routes will be collected on Friday. Residents are reminded to have their containers out by 7 a.m. as normal collection schedules may not be followed.

The landfill will be open on Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Logan Recreation Center will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and the Logan River Golf Course will be open, weather permitting, from about 8 a.m. to approximately 5 p.m.

The Logan City Cemetery will be closed for burials on Thursday and Friday. Also, during the holiday, cemetery crews will not be available to excavate grave sites from Thursday through Saturday, unless arrangements have been made by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21st.
