LOGAN – It’s the 34th year that Charlene Watts has been preparing to host the Novemberfest Arts and Crafts Fair, which opens Friday and continues through Saturday at the Riverwoods Conference Center. This will be the second year at Riverwoods and the first she has done it without her founding partner Nina Despain, who is now on an LDS mission in Romania with her husband, Kent.
Everything is going extremely well, according to Watts, who said big crowds still come from outside Cache Valley to purchase some of the quality items that change from year to year.
“It used to be toe painting and that kind of thing,” she said. “Now we don’t see that, but we still have artwork and a lot of photography. This year we have a few ladies doing some unique lines of clothing that I think the women are going to just love. We have a good toy selection including doll clothes and that kind of thing.”
Watts said Novemberfest, which always starts the day after Thanksgiving, will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 635 South Riverwoods Parkway in Logan. She said she invites everyone to come see what’s new and different.
