LOGAN – Following what she called a successful Fall Festival, Brenda Sun is gearing up for the Little Bloomsbury Foundation’s next production: Little Bloomsbury Moon Festival 2018.

It’s a Chinese immersion through the arts program. It will take place in September 2018, but Sun said it isn’t too early to begin working on the project.

“The wonderful aspect about that is we are doing a Chinese immersion,” she said. “That means whatever music or act that you have in your native language, we are also inviting you to do it in Chinese. That means we need a lot of lead time to work with the artists, and most importantly to work with the cultural concepts, the philosophy and the spiritual side of the Chinese culture.”

Sun said the gifted Needham Family Singers of nine are getting ready for the dual immersion challenge of performing in both English and Chinese. She said it will be exciting for the local artist who may have never imagined singing, playing, arranging or composing Chinese music. Sun said more information is available at (435) 994-9904.
