The 2017-18 CacheARTS Presents national touring season is about to begin and Marketing Director Jann Waterhouse says the season brings 10 jaw-dropping national tours to the Ellen Eccles Theatre in downtown Logan.
She says the season is the silver anniversary of the theater’s grand re-opening in 1993, which will bring an extra sparkle to the stage.
Waterhouse says the opening show does not includes costumes, props, or sets. Instead, it will be the original Star Wars trilogy like you have never seen it before.
“One man, he is a Canadian actor and comedian named Charles Ross who is a life-long Star Wars fan,” Waterhouse explains. “He performs the original trilogy – A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi – in about 60 minutes. He does absolutely everything.
“He has no music, he has no props. It is him doing all of the songs, all of the battles, all of the light saber fights, all of the characters, replaying all the things everybody loves doing, all of the voices and all of the different actions.”
Waterhouse says there are still tickets available at the Ellen Eccles Theatre ticket office at 43 South Main in Logan.
