There were 10 candidates for Logan Municipal Council going in to Tuesday’s primary election and Amy Anderson said she was pleased to be one of the four candidates who will go on to compete in the November final.
Anderson received 18 percent of the vote followed by Paul Rogers with 13 percent, Steve Thompson with 12 percent and Jess Bradfield with 11 percent.
“I’m so grateful for the support of all the people in Logan,” Anderson exclaimed Tuesday night after the results came out, “and just appreciative of all the opportunities I’ve had to work side-by-side with people and different organizations.
“I think it was that personal connection that enabled me to convince people to vote for me here in the primary election. I look forward to moving on to the general election.”
Anderson is the outreach director for the Sunshine Terrace Foundation.
