Numerous activities and services scheduled for Easter weekend

Easter egg hunts, the Easter Bunny and special worship services mark the Easter weekend throughout Cache Valley. The following is a list of activities and services available for the public.

<strong>Easter Egg Hunts / Activities</strong>

<ul><li><a href=”” target=”_blank”>Family Friendly Easter Egg Fun Run</a> at Heritage Park in Nibley. The race and activities for all ages begin at 9 a.m.</li><li>Hyrum City is hosting an <span>Easter Egg Hunt on the city square at 9:00 am for ages 12 and under.</span></li><li><span>Wellsville City is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on the city square for children 9 and under starting at 9 a.m. </span></li><li><span>Mendon City is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Mendon Youth Council, at Mendon Square starting at 10 a.m. A $1 per child donation is appreciated. </span></li><li><span><a href=”” target=”_blank”>Easter Egg Hunt in Willow Park</a>. <span>Alpine Church will scatter eggs in four different zones surrounding the Willow Park Lions Pavilion – 450 West 700 South, Logan, allowing children up to age 10 to participate.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Easter Egg Hunt at the Sports Academy. For ages 4 and under, 10:30; for ages 5-7, 10:50; for ages 8-12, 11:10. Free for members, $5 for non members. </span></span></li><li><span><span>The Easter Bunny will be at the Cache Valley Mall near JC Penny between 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.</span></span></li><li><a href=”;sections=all&amp;date=today” target=”_blank”>Downtown Easter Egg Walk</a> in Historic Downtown Logan. Many establishments will open their doors and welcome families between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. </li><li><a href=”;sections=all&amp;date=today” target=”_blank”>Elk Ridge Park</a> in North Logan is hosing an Easter Egg Hunt in the park starting at 11 a.m. The Easter Bunny will also be in attendance.</li><li><a href=”;sections=all&amp;date=today” target=”_blank”>Easter Bunny Craft Fair and Fundraiser</a> at the Cache County Fairgrounds. Doors open at 11 a.m. The event is free to enter but there are opportunities to donate to the Cache Community Food Pantry and the Ronald McDonald House.</li></ul>

<strong>Easter Sunday Religious Services</strong>

<ul><li>New Life Fellowship Easter Service starts at 10:30 am. Everyone is welcome and they have a nursery and preschool class as well as Kids Church (ages 6-12). For a time of worship with live music, powerful stories and an inspirational message, visit New Life Fellowship at 2045 N. 800 E., North Logan.</li><li>Freedom Christian Fellowship Easter Service starts at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. Freedom Christian Fellowship meets on the USU campus in Old Main, room 119. For rides, please call (435) 760-5458.</li><li>Alpine Church at 395 S. Main in Logan will celebrate Easter with four services on Sunday: 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1 p.m. Their Latino Campus will hold their Easter Service at 6 p.m. A free pancake breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.</li><li>Join various churches in Cache Valley as they celebrate together at the 25th annual Cache Valley Community Easter Celebration at 8 a.m. Easter morning (April 16) in the USU Amphitheater.</li></ul>
