Heavy snow delays school Monday, results in cancellations

Following two-hour delays due to heavy snow, all Cache Valley schools have cancelled classes today. The Cache County and Logan City school districts have closed all campuses. Westside School District (ID) is also closed. Other school closures include Edith Bowen Elementary, Bear River Charter School, InTech Collegiate High School, Fast Forward Charter High School and Thomas Edison Charter School (North and South). 

Utah State University has also cancelled all classes on its Logan Campus, and the Cache Employment Training Center is likewise closed.

Winter weather has also impacted the Cache Valley Mall, leading to closures of all retailers except C-A-L Ranch and the mall’s restaurants. Westside School District (ID) is closed today. Schools on delay: Logan City and Cache County School District (AM Kindergarten and preschool are canceled), Box Elder School District, Uinta County School District #1 in Evanston, Weber County, Fast Forward Charter, Bear River Charter School, Thomas Edison Charter School (North and South) and Edith Bowen Elementary and Cache County Government offices have a two-hour delay due to snow. The Bear River Health Department has also shut down for the day.

Intech Collegiate High School will start at its normal time.  There are also multiple slide-offs in Sardine Canyon.
