Trivia Night encourages people to test their smarts while helping CAPSA

CAPSA is hosting its third annual Trivia Night fundraiser on Saturday, February 4 starting at 6 p.m. at the Logan Golf and Country Club. According to CAPSA Development Director James Boyd this year’s event is being sponsored by Stevens-Henager College.

Boyd says tables play as a group to compete against other tables in themed trivia rounds, which include music, history, pup culture and more. Registration is just $35 a person, which includes dinner.

Boyd says tables for 10 are already sold out but tables for six and eight are available and it is all for a great cause: allowing CAPSA to support more individuals impacted by sexual abuse and domestic violence.

“Every year it seems like we need more support because we have more clients asking for help,” Boyd says. “Part of that is more people are aware of the issue and more aware that CAPSA can help them.

“CAPSA is the state and federally-recognized domestic violence, sexual assault and rape recovery center for Cache Valley. As these topics become more discussed and more publicized when there are high visibility stories, people talk about them more and that allows CAPSA to let more people know about what we do.”

Boyd says the Logan Country Club and Off Premise Catering are supporting CAPSA by giving a great rate to support those impacted by domestic violence, sex trafficking, sexual abuse and rape.
