LOGAN – Utah State University women’s basketball player Antoina Robinson will serve a one-game suspension after a fight broke out during a game against UNLV in Las Vegas Saturday night, the Mountain West Conference announced Monday. In addition to Robinson’s suspension, two UNLV athletes, Katie Powell and Paris Strawther, will also serve suspensions. All three of those players also received public reprimands by the conference.

The fight appeared to start when Powell walked past Robinson after a play and bumped her with her shoulder. Robinson retaliated by pushing Powell.

Six players that were ejected from the game for leaving the bench, three from each school, were issued public reprimands. Those included Dee Moore, Angelica de Paulo and Shannon Dufficy from Utah State and Rodjanae Wade, Destiney Lee and Kennedy Wharton from UNLV.

Powell was also issued a public reprimand for her post-game comments the Mountain West considered inappropriate.
