Road work is scheduled to begin August 15th on U.S. 91 from the Preston City limits to the junction of U.S. 91 and Idaho state road 34. The 1.5-mile section of road will get improved sections of curb and gutter and curb ramps.

The project will also include pedestrian push-button poles at two intersections with traffic signals. The project is funded by $1.8 million out of a general fund surplus and is expected to be completed in October. LeGrand Johnson Construction Company has been designated as the primary contractor for the project.
