Danny Beus is director of the Latino caucus for both the Cache County and the Utah Democratic parties and he says Donald Trump is making the job an easy one to recruit new members.
Beus expects Latinos will turn out to vote in large numbers this year, mainly to try to keep Trump from being elected. He says they are concerned about his views on several issues.
“Immigration is a big one. Health care is a big one,” Beus exclaims. “Minimum wage is a big one.
“Education is important, so it’s not just his stance on building the wall or deporting millions of people. That’s a big deal, but that’s not the only issue Latinos will come out to vote for.”
Beus says Latinos who are interested in participating in the caucus are invited to call him at (435) 232-3923.
