The Logan Library issued a Facebook statement and apology late Tuesday for the ongoing problems with their building’s cooling system. Their troubles began when one of their large and expensive compressors in the basement stopped working six weeks ago.

Just before the repairmen finally arrived Tuesday, the second compressor also stopped working. The statement said they are doing the best they can with mobile cooling units and fans, but they acknowledge it’s still uncomfortable in much of the building.

The library asks their patrons to bear with them while they continue working on the problem.
