Cruise-In features more than just classic cars

The 34th annual Cache Valley Cruise-In opens Thursday, June 30th and continues through Saturday, July 2nd at the Cache County Fairgrounds. Spokesman Lynn Zollinger says this year’s event will feature not only nearly 1,000 cars of every description, but also special guests, a Time Cruisers concert, a Main Street parade and many other events at the largest car show in Utah.

“The Show and Shine, the actual main car show, is both on Friday and Saturday,” Zollinger says. “You can get admittance to the car show by purchasing an entry ticket at the gate.

“This also entitles the bearer to have a chance to win a car we are giving away, which is a 1970 Camaro RS. It’s really a nice car.”

Everyone is invited to come to the fairgrounds during the Cruise-In where there will be a sock hop, a Women’s World, music and games, and many activities for families.

The Cruise-In will end with the always-popular parade down Logan’s Main Street on Saturday starting at 7 p.m.
