LOGAN – The Cache County Council is continuing to move forward with its plan to create a water conservancy district. At Tuesday’s meeting County Executive Craig Buttars said the so-called Bridgerland Water Work Group held a meeting on Monday and some decisions were made.
“They made the decision to move forward with the resolution process to go through that process to get this on the ballot for November,” he said. “It was a unanimous vote to move forward with the resolution process. There was also a recommendation that we change the name from Bridgerland Water Work Group. We would call it the Cache Valley Water Conservancy District.”
Buttars said it was decided that there will be eleven members of the core group – seven for each of the county districts and four at-large positions.
