Woman arrested after string of suspected DUI accidents

Lisa Wallentine, 37, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and causing four accidents along Logan's Main Street. 

LOGAN — Police arrested an Idaho woman Wednesday afternoon they say is suspected of driving under the influence and causing four accidents along Main Street.

Logan City Police Chief Gary Jensen said 37-year-old Lisa Wallentine was booked into the Cache County Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence and having an open container in her vehicle.

Officers report the accidents occurred around 4:30 p.m. between 400 North and 300 South.

Jensen said a male passenger in Wallentine’s vehicle was injured in the crashes. He was transported by ambulance to Logan Regional Hospital. Two others involved in the accidents were injured but declined medical attention.

Wallentine is being held on $2,250 bail.

Jensen said officers conducted a sobriety test on Wallentine after the accidents that showed a blood alcohol level above the state’s legal limit.
